One co-operation, double the impact: today it’s finally open in the air! We are partnering up with Austria’s biggest crowd investing platform CONDA to lower the barrier for startups and small businesses to get peer-to-peer funding for their business. Two startup underdogs engaging with crowds along the entire financial value chain by challenging traditional setups first in the conservative alpine region and then expanding together all over Europe. Needless to say, we are very excited!
"With implementing technology provided by Holvi we optimise our offer to the best extent available and bring European know-how to Austria and move at the same time a step closer towards Europe!," states CONDA managing partner Paul Pöltner.
CONDA successfully launched its service in the whole DACH region in 2014. Now it’s their time to expand across Europe. We here at Holvi received our Payment Institution licence for operations across the European Economic Area in the summer of 2014 so the timing couldn’t be better for us to join forces. With this co-operation, both our platforms are aligning alternative financing and financial technologies to build an European hub that brings payment methods and transaction data alike, together.
Our independent licence is the foundation for an open yet fully customised infrastructure, managing AML (Anti-Money-Laundry), KYC and all transaction processes under one roof. After getting into early discussions with CONDA, we quickly figured that this proved to be a competitive edge for both parties involved. Once CONDA’s registration process is over, the investor can securely and seamlessly transfer funds to the selected project via Holvi’s gateway. All funded projects can continue to use their Holvi account which offers versatile SME tools from budgeting to invoicing.
"CONDA is providing startups and micro businesses all over Europe the opportunity to actually build their projects. Together we are building a focal point for the modern economy, that connects crowd investing and all forms of payment methods, data, and transactions. Holvi providing the technology for all of these systems run on is a natural fit and together with CONDA we are offering a legally independent platform for all crowd investing projects across Europe!” says Johan Lorenzen, Holvi CEO.
