This blog post is about setting up your Holvi profile and your first account. Your profile is personal and you can associate as many accounts to it as you want.
Your Holvi profile
You can set up a Holvi account through our Registration page. During the registration we verify your email address and mobile phone number. After that you can open your first Holvi account! You can verify your identity later, it is required before you can make payments out from the account.
Open a Holvi account
Select Open a Holvi account and proceed to filling in the details. You can edit this information later, except the Account address.
Account name
This is the name of your group, organisation or event. This name will be in your online store, invoices and receipts. Choose a short and recognisable name, avoid abbreviations.
Account address
This www-address is where your online store is located. If your group is called e.g. Porkkana,
your address can be http://www.holvi.com/shop/porkkana
Email
Your customers will contact you through this email. It will be included e.g. in the receipts sent from your online store.
Description
This description will be included in your online store. You can provide additional information about your activities. If you are arranging e.g. an event, you might want to include dates and venue here.
Website
If you have a website for your organisation, you can include the address in your online store.
Address & Account logo
Street, postal code etc. are necessary if you send invoices from your account. The account logo will be included in various places like invoice emails, online store etc.
Sharing your Holvi account
Once your group members have Holvi profiles you can invite them to shared accounts by clicking the Users tab at the top of your Holvi account.
